Electrification of vehicles is growing exponentially with green initiatives paving the way, but to ensure the longevity and wider commercial success the technology needs to be able to perform well enough as an alternative and be safe. The purpose vibration testing batteries, especially during charge and discharge cycles, is to evaluate the effect of long-term vibration profiles – representative of driving – on the battery, both in terms of the durability and in terms of identification of design flaws.
