Engine - or gear box - mounted components are submitted to loads coming from both the rotating machinery and the road profile. This vibratory mechanical environment is traditionally defined as swept sines or random profiles. In this presentation, we will present a methodology which enables you to superimpose swept sines and a power spectral density of acceleration to optimize and accelerate the durability tests of such components.
