Perfectly suited for any type of tank, batching or platform scales in a smart production facility, the HLCi offers real time data monitoring and many other intelligent features provided by IO-Link. IO-Link provides great benefits to its users, by being the cost-effective solution for automation through simplifying maintenance, reducing downtime and training requirements, while also improve accuracy and optimize workflow. The robust, stainless steel measuring body with IP 68/IP 69K withstands even the harshest environments.

IO-Link Innovations by HBK

  • Function blocks provided for Siemens TIA Portal V14, Rockwell RSLogix5000 and Beckhoff TwinCAT 3 available, making an IO-Link master obsolete.
  • Pre-Process of measurement data by transmitting only essential results, the domain-specific algorithms simplify and reduce costs for customers.
  • Factory scaling implemented on delivery with additional Teach-In assistant for mounted cell calibration with proofing weights.
  • Storing of sensor’s parameter set can be stored on three levels within the sensor itself, on the IO-Link master and within the PLC, enabling the ‘hot’ swopping of sensors. Using a specific setting, the IO-Link master reads whether the newly connected sensor has the same Device ID as the previous one and automatically writes the stored parameter data into the new sensor if the Device ID matches.
