Problem:
An error message such as "The activated license is corrupt" appears when you run any ReliaSoft desktop application after upgrading your operating system to Windows 10.
Solution:
To prevent the error, you can do either of the following:
If you have many applications, we recommend to uninstall the ReliaSoft desktop application suite (e.g., ReliaSoft 2022, Synthesis 11, etc.) prior to upgrading your operating system. After the upgrade, reinstall the suite. This will allow you to re-activate all ReliaSoft desktop applications at once.
Alternatively, if you have only one or two applications, you may prefer to just deactivate each application prior to upgrading your operating system. After the upgrade, run each application. You will be prompted to activate the application.
If you have already upgraded your operating system, you will see the error message when you run each application. You can do either of the following:
If you have many applications, we recommend to uninstall the ReliaSoft desktop application suite and then reinstall it in order to reactivate all applications at once.
Alternatively, if you have only one or two applications, you may prefer to just close the error message, and then run the application again. You will be prompted to activate the application. You will need to do this for each application (e.g., if you have a license for both Weibull++ and BlockSim, activating Weibull++ will not activate BlockSim; that must be done separately).
