The release of ReliaSoft 2025 delivers improvements in functionality and performance for Weibull ++, XFMEA, Lambda Predict and BlockSim, along with enhanced security across all ReliaSoft products.
This latest version focuses on customer-requested enhancements, performance improvements, and security updates to ensure more efficient, secure, and reliable data-driven analyses.
New in Weibull++ 2025, the Competing Risks Weibull model provides a way to analyze data sets where more than one failure mode must be considered for every data point.
This method expands on previous functionality in the software and is more flexible with regard to the data requirements.
The Competing Risks method is similar to the Mixed Weibull approach but can be easier to apply to real world data since the failure mode for each data point does not need to be specified by the user. This means that users can more easily evaluate multimodal datasets with more confidence.
This new functionality in XFMEA makes the P-Diagram a more fundamental part of the FMEA process by allowing a team to brainstorm for longer in the P-Diagram prior to creating the FMEA.
This release provides a new field within the P-diagram (End Effect) to provide a meaningful connection to all primary elements of the FMEA and enables the user to dynamically create an FMEA directly from the P-diagram.
XFMEA now includes dashboards to easily view FMEA-MSR ratings. Monitoring and System Response (MSR) is a systematic method for identifying and assessing potential failures in a product while it's being used by a customer and is part of both the AIAG-VDA and latest J1739A standards.
BlockSim 2025 includes extensive algorithm refactoring to enable greater use of multi-threaded computing. This means faster simulations in many scenarios.
This release also includes support for multiple-block representation in fault tree analysis. This provides improved usability for managing complex scenarios in fault trees.
Updated copy paste behavior in Lambda Predict provides more flexibility for updating the components underneath the block level. This enables more control and a streamlined approach when reusing components across your analysis / BOM for standards-based reliability prediction.
Thoughout the ReliaSoft product range, we have continued to update and improve security measures and protocols to help keep your data secure across supported environments.
Plus ReliaSoft 2024 includes other usability and security enhancements.
Developed in concert with customers this new functionality provides the means to allow a Bill of Materials (BOM) stored in XFRACAS to be sent to BlockSim as a Reliability Block Diagram (RBD). This new capability will allow users with large XFRACAS systems who are looking to evaluate the reliability and/or maintainability approaches of their system with minimal effort for the initial transformation. Utilizing this approach along with the existing APIs for transferring reliability policies and data into BlockSim provides for a streamlined approach to move from FRACAS to RAM analysis without any intermediate steps or software.
Implemented following customer feedback from a range of users, this new audit functionality provides methods for recording the user, time, and date of the following types of actions within XFRACAS.
This vital functionality provides administrators the means to perform a full audit of accessed records and actions performed within XFRACAS.
Following customer demand for enhancements for library storage that gives users a centralized maintained library for all of their custom part information in an enterprise environment. This update is integrated directly into the interface and supported as an extension of existing or new enterprise databases.
This functionality provides much needed support for multi-user deployments of Lambda Predict and allows for securely storing, access, and updates to custom part information. Lambda Predict still supports local libraries, however this allows for a large pool of users to work against one common library as opposed to either storing a local library in shared store, or having to maintain and update disparate libraries by group or user.
Building on the history of supporting MSG-3 updates for customers in the aerospace industry ReliaSoft MPC V2024 adds support, reporting, and updates for the 2018 MSG-3 release for both fixed wing (volume 1) and rotorcraft volume 2).
This functionality allows our aerospace customers to establish and/or record maintenance guidelines within a regulatory framework by following industry recommendations and best practices. ReliaSoft MPC 24 provides methods for systems, structures, zones, and L/HIRF analyses along with standardized and custom reporting.

n ReliaSoft 2023, we have added support for the Failure Modes and Effects Analysis – Monitoring and System Response (FMEA-MSR) analysis to both the AIAG/VDA 1st Ed and SAE J1739 (2021) FMEA profiles available in ReliaSoft XFMEA/RCM++ software. This new update will allow customers to follow the entirety of both FMEA handbooks cover to cover. Design teams following this methodology can now fully document and take credit for their monitored control systems in their design.
We are pleased to announce the availability of ReliaSoft 2022, offering important software usability improvements and new methods designed to make your reliability analyses more effective, improve your productivity with streamlined user experience.
Customers on active software maintenance can gain access to ReliaSoft 2022 and full release documentation using the Support Portal.
In ReliaSoft 2022 we have added the SAE J1739 (2021) FMEA profile to ReliaSoft XFMEA/RCM++ software. This new update will allow customers to choose between AIAG/VDA 1st and the new SAE standard for automotive applications. The revised SAE J1739 standard has a significant number of changes when compared to the previous version. It helps with assistance for designers and manufacturers in the identification and reduction of technical risk by providing appropriate terms, requirements, evaluation criteria, and worksheet formats.
