LAN-XI Firmware Downloads

There are two ways to download the binary firmware below to your LAN-XI Module:

 

1) One module/frame at a time (handy with e.g. Notar and Sonoscout):

  • Download the binary firmware to any location on your PC
  • Using a web-browser, access the homepage on your LAN-XI module (for a frame - the leftmost module)
  • Go to the "Firmware" page and follow the instructions

 

2) A number of modules and/or frames at a time:

  • The Frontend-Setup program looks for a "Firmware.lxi" file in your installation - typically:
    C:\Program Files\Bruel and Kjaer\PULSE\IdaSW\PromUpdate\Firmware.lxi Rename this file to e.g. OldFirmware.lxi
  • Now download the binary firmware to the directory and filename given above
  • Start the Frontend-Setup
  • Go to the "Firmware" Tab and assure that the relevant firmware is in the list
  • Press "Start Update" and follow the instructions
