Piezoelectric CCLD (IEPE) Accelerometers

CCLD accelerometers are PE charge accelerometers (also referred to as IEPE accelerometers) with integral preamplifiers that have output signals in the form of low-impedance voltage output. Most HBK CCCLD accelerometers are hermetically sealed to protect against environmental contamination and have low susceptibility to radio frequency, electromagnetic radiation and low impedance output due to the built-in amplifier. This allows the use of inexpensive, and long, coaxial cables.

Force Transducers

Tachometer Probes

Non-contact transducers for measuring speed, velocity and displacement by HBK, such as our tachometer probe, designed to indicate the angular (rotary) speed - measured as revolutions per minute (RPM) - of a rotating shaft, like a vehicle engine shaft. In addition, with our Magnetic Transducer, you can excite a test structure using the transducer as a miniature contact‐free electromagnetic vibration exciter to determine the elastic properties of materials.

Optical Accelerometer

Based on the Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) technology and the newLight optical sensor line, the FS65 accelerometer is a high-precision vibration sensor tailored to measure acceleration at different frequencies from 0 to 50Hz. It can be used in a large range of monitoring applications where low-frequency, but relevant amplitude vibrations are present, including measuring load-induced vibration of civil structures and ambient cable vibrations.

Discontinued - Vibration Transducers

The Magnetic Transducer MM-0002 is a variable reluctance device that can be used as a velocity-sensitive vibration pickup or as an electromagnetic vibration exciter. The moving part is either the tested structure itself if it is ferromagnetic, or one of the high permeability discs supplied, which is glued onto the vibrating structure in front of the electromagnet.
