Hardware

Vibration control hardware is capable of working with practically any test system and test profiles. Both LDS Vibration Controllers feature a USB 2.0 interface and easy connectivity. While COMET USB caters to ease of setup and automation for smaller setups, LASER USB provides multiple DSP processors designed to handle the control loop independently of the PC host, providing advanced technology for simulating real-world conditions.

Software

Classical shock control creates a series of pulses to excite the device or structure under test, measures the structure’s response and performs a spectral analysis to determine its response and resonance characteristics. This type of testing profile offers higher accuracy and repeatability than regular drop-test methods.
