September 22, 2020, 3.30 CET - How to Confidently Acelerate Life Tests

Getting test results faster is always of interest, and accelerated testing – increasing the test stress and projecting that to the use condition – is one common approach. However, the questions of model choice, projection uncertainty and assumption validity often render tests less informative than initially hoped. This webinar will discuss several strategies how to build confidence in accelerated test results, highlighting the importance of understanding the physics of failure and how intelligent test planning can make you more confident in use-level life projections.

October 26, 2020; 1:30am ET/11am IST/7:30am CET - Reliability Testing Strategies for Repairable System Using ReliaSoft Weibull++

The first prototypes produced during the development of a new system often contain design, manufacturing and/or engineering deficiencies. In order to identify and correct those deficiencies, the prototypes are usually subjected to a rigorous testing program. During such testing, most problem areas are usually identified and appropriate corrective (or redesign) actions are taken. Throughout the first phases of a product's development, the estimate of the product's final reliability is typically called the ``reliability goal.`` To reach this goal, the product must undergo comprehensive testing and appropriate corrective actions must be implemented. This well structured process of finding reliability problems and monitoring the increase of the product's reliability through successive phases is commonly called ``reliability growth.`` During this webinar, attendees get familiar with will the principles of reliability growth testing and strategies using ReliaSoft Weibull++ software.

November 11, 2020; 5:30am ET/3pm IST/11:30am CET - Reliability Test Design: Linking Fatigue and Reliability

Reliability and durability fit together in product validation testing. Often, the product’s life requirement is being able to withstand loading over a specified duration with defined reliability and confidence requirements: ``The part must be free of visible cracks with a reliability greater than 90% with a 90% lower 1-sided confidence bound after being subjected to loading representative of 4,000 service hours.`` Durability, life data and reliability analyses can help engineers answer critical questions whether how long to test and how many parts to test in order to meet these life requirements. In this webinar, we will discuss the important link between testing to prove durability and testing to demonstrate reliability.
